Effective presentations training&coaching
Today, practically all executives have to deal with different kinds of presentations: with their teams, customers, in groups, conferences, events, before large audiences.
The goal of presentations is to convince and generate confidence and credibility. We are not required to show how much we know about a subject, rather to awaken an interest in our audience.
Presenting something is more than just coming out with a list of facts and data; it is a real dialogue between the speaker and their audience and should include elements of theatre and of drama. You have to learn how to communicate effectively, not just with words, but also using body language.
The audience must perceive that what you are going to say to them is relevant and that you are the right person to explain it. Making sure that you look at ease and transmitting enthusiasm and confidence to the audience are key factors when it comes to influencing them.
The impact of a presentation, being convincing, mainly depends on your facial expression, your voice and your body language. In order to transmit enthusiasm, to get across to them, it is essential to dominate non-verbal communication. Being a good communicator is not just a natural talent, it’s a skill that can be learnt and coached. When you make an investment in the development of interpersonal communication skills there is a return.
For speakers, public speaking can generate a great deal of anxiety and suffering from some form of stage fright is quite normal; it can even help to hone your communications skills, although sometimes an excess of adrenaline can paralyse you, at which point it becomes a problem.
Sinapsis-Lab has drawn up a specific training course aimed at overcoming this type of difficulty. The programme is tailor made for each individual and will allow you to deal with your situation in a direct and private way assisted by Dr. Catalina Pons, who will be at your disposition throughout the training process.
The programme includes
- A range of presentation situations: one-on-one, groups and large audiences
- Video-recorded simulations, allowing for subsequent viewing, analysis and feedback
- Techniques for overcoming and controlling stage fright
Specific interpersonal communications analysis software is used to provide feedback. On completing the programme, each participant will receives their videos and an individualised report, indicating their strengths and weaknesses, areas for improvement and critical factors.
Drawing up the Contents and Presentations Design
We define the focus and take care of writing the script, structuring the discourse and the argument, designing the slides and the visual elements.
Well used visuals can emotionally involve the audience and stimulate their imagination, keeping their intention focussed and improving their memory of what you is being said.
We have all had to sit through presentations that were boring and confusing, and this was not necessarily due to the object of the presentation. Even the most inaccessible subjects can be made exciting and interesting. At Sinapsis-Lab we combine design, neuroscience and marketing to create presentations with persuasive contents and effective visuals, presentations that will help to inform and that will captivate and entertain the audience.
